Alvarez is an interesting case!! He’s only 24, what would the Mets do if some team comes knocking on their door for him!!

Especially now when he seems to have regained his power stroke!!

That’s a great question. I watched the post game show and Andy Green, interim manager is high on him as ever and there’s a reason for it.

He’s only 24 years old and as you read in the newsletter, he always shows you these glimpse of hope and why he was the number one overall prospect and baseball.

His problem is that he can’t stay healthy.

I don’t think that they would shop him as catchers are very hard to come by especially catchers who are only 24 and have unlimited potential.

Alvarez just needs to stay healthy and that will hopefully come. He has not been healthy for any of the years that he’s been in Major league baseball.

Like you point out, every game I think, what a waste of a great bullpen!
